On 24th of September, 2019, the Scientific Library held the seminar at the assembly room №84 of the main building, of Scopus database for undergraduates, PhD doctoral students and teaching staff. The seminar theme: “How to develop a scientific career with assistance of Scopus database ”.
During the seminar, Andrey Loktev, the consultant of key and information solutions of Elsevier S&T, paid special attention to Scopus database, as the world’s largest abstract and analytical base of scientific publications and citations.
He talked about magazine metrics, as CiteScore percentile and quartile, to what criteria you need to pay attention to, how to track publications using author profiles, and much more.
At the seminar, the participants received answers to their interesting questions related to the selection of a journal with a high percentile.
